David Haye has come under fire for his comments about girlfriend, Sian Osborne, while on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! South Africa.
Despite initially praising Sian for her culinary skills, the boxing champion, 45, then proudly declared she had the ‘personality of a proper ugly bird’.
He assured his horrified campmate that this was a compliment, meaning she was hot but with the personality of ‘ugly girls’, who have to ‘tell jokes’.
Campmate Beverley Callard blasted the ‘sexist’ comment in the Bush Telegraph while the internet shared mass disapproval.
So who is this ‘drop-dead gorgeous’ gal who cooks like a dream, has the personality of ‘an ugly duckling’, and presumably finds David’s jokes funny?

Here’s everything we know about David’s girlfriend Sian.
Who is David Haye’s girlfriend, Sian Osborne?
Sian, 33, is a British model who has been dating David since 2020, keeping things low-key for the first few years of their romance.
Despite huge speculation around their relationship, very little is actually known about Sian beyond her modelling.
It’s been reported that they met after Sian began modelling for Black Mask Company, which David launched during the Covid pandemic.
She has been on the cover of fashion magazines Nylon and Style, as well as starring in an advert for Chinese brewery Tsingtao and appearing on Project Runway.
They generally keep out of the spotlight, posing for snaps at Wimbledon in 2024, as well as family days out with David’s son Cassius.
Was David Haye in a throuple?
When most people think about David and Sian, they think about those bizarre ‘throuple’ rumours with The Saturdays’ Una Healy, 44.
The couple are thought to be in a consensual non-monogamous relationship, with Una famously caught in the middle.
The Saturdays star had previously been married to rugby player Ben Foden, 40, with whom she shares two children, however, they split in 2018.
While none of the three officially addressed the rumours, David appeared to confirm the relationship on Valentine’s Day as he paid tribute to the ‘Queens’ in his life.
He posed on the beach with the two women, with Una also posting snaps cosied up to the boxer captioned: ‘It was me and him’.
Then every trace of the pair disappeared from her account, with the Higher singer later saying she felt ‘hoodwinked’ into the relationship.
After meeting on Raya, she and David became friends and began going on dates but she didn’t feel he was ‘husband material’.
Una decided to meet Sian as she didn’t want cheating accusations flying, so she hoped it would show nobody was ‘hurt’ in the situation.
She insisted that the situation was not a ‘throuple’ as she was never ‘romantic’ with Sian and barely even knew her.
Eventually, Una decided the relationship wasn’t what she needed and ended things with David, which she claims he did before the ‘queens’ post.
What were David Haye’s ‘sexist’ comments?
While chatting to his campmates on I’m A Celeb, David’s compliment about his girlfriend went a little awry.
Telling Pussycat Doll Ashley and Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt that it would be ‘good to get everyone together’ after the show ends, David invited them to Costa Rica.
‘She can cook for 60 people. We have these parties in Costa Rica every week,’ he said.
‘Who is this woman? She’s unbelievable!’ Ashley praised, with Sinitta asking if Sian is Costa Rican, to which David replied: ‘No, she’s not Costa Rican. She’s tall, blue eyes…’
‘She sounds like she’s drop-dead gorgeous,’ complimented the So Macho hitmaker, prompting David to dig himself into a hole.
After calling her ‘lovely’, he added of Sian: ‘She’s got the personality of a proper ugly bird.’
Scarlett quickly scolded him, declaring, ‘You can’t say that, David!’, but he doubled down.
‘Why? No, she has, honestly. Most ugly girls realise they’ve gotta have a personality and the banter to tell jokes and s**t, so people overlook the fact that they’re not aesthetically amazing straight away.’
‘It’s called ugly duckling syndrome,’ he told his campmates, who listened in shock. ‘Where girls are ugly when they start off, then they get pretty as they get older, but they’ve still got the personality of when they were ugly.’
The comments were not well received by his campmates, with Scarlett saying some of the things he says go down ‘like a lead balloon’.
