Nicki Minaj has reignited her feud with Megan Thee Stallion by mocking the rapper’s ongoing sexual harassment lawsuit. The lawsuit involves Megan Thee Stallion and her management company, Roc Nation, facing allegations from her former cameraman, Emilio Garcia, who claims he endured a hostile work environment.
Nicki Minaj posts about Megan Thee Stallion on Instagram
Nicki Minaj seems to have taken direct aim at Megan Thee Stallion over a lawsuit that’s rapidly gaining traction. On July 8, Minaj took to Instagram to share a post about a federal judge giving the green light for a sexual harassment case against Megan and Roc Nation to move forward.
Emilio Garcia, Megan Thee Stallion’s former cameraman, filed the case. He accused the rapper of creating a hostile work environment and sexually inappropriate behavior. For more context, he claimed in court documents that Megan trapped him in a vehicle while she had sex with another woman. Calling the accusations “salacious,” the rapper tried to have the lawsuit dismissed. Moreover, she described it as an “employment claim for money” and accused Garcia of trying to “embarrass her.”
But Judge Gregory H. Woods wasn’t convinced. His decision to let the case proceed struck a chord with Minaj, who celebrated the news with a pointed Instagram caption, “What was the name of that law again???????? Karma’s Law? Touch not my anointed law? Vengeance is the Lord’s law?” She added, “Lol the blogs posting lies, thank you. More money for me. We’re working. Trust.”
For fans tracking the long-simmering beef between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion, the post was a callback to the latter’s January track “Hiss.” In the song, she fired shots with the line, “These hoes mad at Megan’s Law,” a reference to the U.S. statute on sex offender registration. It is widely interpreted as a dig at Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty. Minaj didn’t wait long to respond that time either. She dropped “Big Foot” in retaliation, where she openly mocked Megan’s injuries from the 2020 Tory Lanez shooting.
While neither Stallion nor Roc Nation has publicly addressed Minaj’s posts, the online tension seems to be escalating again.
