Although Rick and Morty is in its ninth season, there are no signs that the sci-fi comedy is slowing down. Rick Sanchez (Ian Cardoni), his grandson Morty (Harry Belden), and the rest of the Smith family are locked in for new interdimensional adventures through Season 12 under co-creator Dan Harmon and showrunner Scott Marder, all as their current run is being hailed as a return to form with a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. The dynamic duo is about to enter a new dimension as well — theaters. A feature-length journey across the multiverse was announced back in May, with longtime franchise creative Jacob Hair directing and a premise that Collider recently learned will be very Indiana Jones-inspired. Before that, though, the series is taking a detour to Washington, D.C. for the first spin-off focused on someone other than the main pair.
