Megan Thee Stallion took to her Instagram to announce her departure from Moulin Rouge! early. She wrote, “Hotties, my last performance as Zidler in @moulinrougebway will be May 1. It’s been such an honor to be part of thee Moulin Rouge family and I’ve met so many amazing people in this theater!” The “Body” hitmaker continued, “Y’all work so hard and I have so much respect for the dedication, the stamina, the work ethic, the time and the effort y’all put into the work!”

Megan added that she is “grateful for the cast and crew that made this experience so meaningful.” She concluded on an emotional note, “And to all the Hotties that showed up or planned to attend, thank you for supporting me during this incredible journey! I LOVE YALL? See you soon.” The Moulin Rouge! exit news comes amid Megan’s split annoucement from boyfriend Klay Thompson.

The Grammy-award-winning singer confirmed the breakup on her Instagram stories. She also told E! News, “I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity, and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward.” The 31-year-old added, “I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”

Meanwhile, Megan recently felt unwell and was forced to exit her musical show midway. Her rep told The Guardian that “Megan was transported to a local hospital to undergo a medical evaluation after experiencing concerning symptoms.”

The rep continued, “Doctors ultimately identified extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction, and low metabolic levels as the cause of her symptoms. Megan has since been treated, discharged, and is now resting.”
