Chris McKenna and more General Hospital stars mourn Brad Everett Young’s death
Young had photographed numerous big stars from various soap operas like Days of Our Lives and General Hospital.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Young was driving on the 134 Freeway when his car was hit by a vehicle moving in the wrong direction. He was announced dead on the spot, whereas the other driver was hospitalized. His demise has shocked the whole industry, with many taking to social media to pay their tribute to him.
Chris McKenna, who plays Jack on GH, shared an image of his pictures taken by Young on social media. His caption read, “These were taken just a couple weeks ago by the late @bradley206 We won’t see another like him.”
Bryan Craig, a former GH actor who played Morgan, shared his condolences on the story. He wrote, “This is never the type of article you want to post for someone you know. This is devastating. R.I.P. to a great guy that always had a smile on.”

In addition, Parry Shen, who previously played Brad on the show, posted a lengthy note, appreciating Young’s work and kind nature. “Brad Everett Young was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever met. But the one trait that made him truly stand out in this business, often filled with cynicism, was his indomitable positivity. He was always striving to make the situation better,” he wrote. He further highlighted his helpful nature in arranging and promoting events. Furthermore, he mentioned that he also refused to take money for the pictures he clicked of himself.

“His excitement when pitching a fun idea to shoot was contagious. He also used his talents and platform to restore music and arts programs at schools with Dream Loud Official. A huge, huge loss. To those who met him at our events, you know. Rest in peace, friend,” he added.
Lily Melgar, known for playing ex-Lilly, wrote, “Rest in paradise, my love. My heart aches as I lose another friend. This is so incredibly tragic… My favorite photographer in L.A., my buddy — a good seed.”
