General Hospital’s Outback the dog continues to win hearts with her adorable presence in the soap opera. This week, the show treated fans to a major scene featuring the pooch when Cody shared a cute moment with his “sandwich stealer.” Although the pup went missing recently, raising concern among fans, she is now back safe and sound.

Now, a Facebook post is going viral among fans, celebrating the beloved pup. Soap On Replay has crowned Outback as the “Performer of the Week,” calling her a “furry scene-stealer.” Needless to say, fans wholeheartedly agreed with the decision and flooded the comment section with heart emojis.

One user wrote, “Outback definitely deserves the Pawsy Award…. the canine version of the Emmy awards!” while another stated, “Something we can all agree on especially with Cody today!!!.” Another fan wrote, “Ok can the performer of the week get any cuter.”

Outback the dog has been charming her co-stars behind the scenes as well. Actor Josh Kelly, who plays Cody on General Hospital, recently gushed about working with his four-legged castmate. Speaking with Soap Opera Digest, Kelly fawned over Outback, saying, “That dog is adorable!”

“Her real name is Bailey and she is super-sweet. Bailey is a little beagle, and my first dog as a kid was a beagle mix named Stormy, so I’m a fan of the breed,” Kelly shared.

Kelly went on to express one regret he had about his furry co-star. “I wish I could have worked with the dog more off camera, I wish I could have been its handler, because the dog’s handler is on set and they only pay attention to the handler! I don’t know if it’s her owner or her trainer, but talk about having to be present in scenes!” he shared.

Nevertheless, Kelly and the rest of the General Hospital cast continue to share their delight in working with Outback.
