With the success of Spider-Man: Brand New Day—now sitting among the top 3 highest-grossing movies of all time—there's zero question that Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment are going to be investing even more heavily in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man moving forward. It's hard to deny that director Destin Daniel Cretton and actor Tom Holland put their all into making sure this fourth Spidey movie was going to be amazing, and with them moving forward onto the fifth as the creative minds once more, there are high hopes. This is especially true with how much respect they pay to the comics throughout the entire movie.
