Wedding season is on its way to The Young and the Restless, and fans get to pick Cricket’s dress through a poll. After years of waiting, viewers finally get to see their two favorite characters getting married again. Fans of the show not only get to witness the long-awaited wedding but also take part in it. Lauralee Bell, who plays Christine “Cricket” Blair, revealed how fans will contribute to the show’s big moment.

In an interview with US Weekly, Bell revealed that fans get to choose her character’s wedding dress.

“When we heard that we were going to get remarried, I just thought, ‘These people have devoted so much of their lives to our show,’” Bell shared. “Whenever there’s a way where we can incorporate them or make them understand how much they mean to us, we can’t do this without them,” she admitted.

Bell revealed that fans get to choose from three options, which she has already tried on. She said, “To be honest with you, all three of them are extremely comfortable.” The 56-year-old actress added, “They’re all kind of simple and elegant. I’m not the big ball down on top of a wedding cake, and nothing’s showing. They’re all appropriate.”

Bell concluded by saying, “If someone were to say, ‘Do I have a favorite?’ I don’t know that I do. I want this to completely be what [the fans pick].”

When and where can fans vote on Cricket’s wedding dress?

Fans will be able to choose Cricket’s dress through a story on Y&R’s official Instagram, which will also be shared on Bell’s Instagram account. The post will go live on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. PT/3:30 p.m. ET. Since Instagram stories remain active for 24 hours, fans will have one full day to cast their votes.

Christine and Danny Romalotti, played by Michael Damian, have a long history on the show. Danny originally married Christine in an episode back in 1990, but their relationship ended after he cheated on her with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). The pair reunited in March 2024, with Danny later proposing in July 2025.
