AHEE has delivered 15 new heaters on BassQuest Vol. 3. The third edition of his ongoing BassQuest series includes singles “Cosmic Club” and “Gatita Rica.”

AHEE is back with another edition of his imaginative BassQuest series. BassQuest Vol. 3 marks the next chapter in his booming journey. While the previous volumes were released as EPs, the producer has presented an album’s worth of songs as the latest edition features 15 sonically diverse tracks.

The mood is set with the opening song, “Muse Sick.” The tune stands out as AHEE blends house and dubstep into a unique, high-energy concept. Drawing from UK garage and classic dubstep, the track builds in intensity before bursting into a thunderous bass drop.

“Something Nasty” takes a popular vocal sample and turns it into a fresh and filthy tune. The words “I’mma kick back” repeat over distorted wubs, progressively getting darker throughout the 1:31 runtime.

AHEE also plays with a well-known sample on “Cosmic Club.” The sample of choice, popularized in EDM by Ray Volpe’s “SEE YOU DROP,” is reimagined into a shadowy midtempo track with fluttering bass.

The album continues to delve deeper into AHEE’s uncharted universe with “Owl Party.” The captivating bass track reels listeners in with its infectious wobble. Elements of world bass, along with owl hoots and birds cawing, make for an atmospheric song.

Amping things up again, “Wiggle Master” and “Rude Rythym” burst in, brimming with energy. Things take a turn on “Frog Medicine,” where listeners are plummeted into murky waters. The song is complex, with a multitude of layers similar to those of “Swamp Monster.” The latter brings in global sounds, such as swirling woodwinds and worldly percussion, furthering AHEE’s immersive storytelling.

The most ambitious track is “Snake Oil,” which catapults fans into the fauna of the lush jungle. Animal calls ring out among various samples, ad-libs, and female vocals. While the production features many elements, AHEE’s sound design doesn’t feel cluttered.

Wrapping the album up into a perfect package, “Outro (The Embrace)” closes the adventure with an inspirational farewell. It urges listeners to face their shadow self, embrace the darkness within, and ultimately heal.
