Woman sues McDonald's after being served food 'wholly unfit for human consumption': suit

NEW YORK (WKRC) - A woman sued McDonald's after she was allegedly served food "wholly unfit for human consumption" that led to her being severely injured. According to a complaint obtained by the Independent, Yvette Hinds filed a lawsuit on May 26 claiming that on May 25, 2023, she was served a contaminated McMuffin from a McDonald's location in Manhattan. Hinds' lawsuit said that, unbeknownst to her, the item contained "contaminants, poisons, toxins, parasites, bacteria, germs and/or organisms which would and did cause various serious personal injuries."
