A woman was found shot to death at an apartment complex in the Arlington area on Monday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Police said they received several calls from several residents of the apartment complex located on Edenfield Road reporting they had heard gunshots.
When they arrived, police found a woman, between 40 and 50 years old, suffering from gunshot wounds lying in the parking lot.
JFRD first responders responded and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made.
“At this time we are not sure if this is an isolated incident or not. We are unable to advise if there is any additional threat to the community,” JSO wrote.
