Why Notre Dame's 0-2 start is particularly disastrous

An 0-2 start against two ranked teams in which the margin of victory was a combined four points isn't all that detrimental to a playoff contender. Unfortunately, because of Notre Dame's unique situation, they're in much more danger than most playoff contenders.
