“That was foulllll,” the same user added in the comments section. “Usher really sent out his doppelganger.”

Another on X wrote: “Usher you can’t fool New York that’s not you bro I want my money back.”

In a video posted to the tour’s official Instagram page, Usher shared his reaction to the multitude of claims that he used a body double. “Ya’ll are funny…clone? They can’t clone this??” he wrote, adding: “How ya’ll come up with this? AI ain’t that advanced.”

Usher’s tour with Chris Brown will continue in Foxborough on August 17 and wraps at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on December 12.

He recently joined Jay-Z for ‘Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love)’ and ‘Throwback / Part II (On the Run)’ during the third night of his massive run at the Yankee Stadium alongside Teyana Taylor, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Fat JoeSwizz BeatzClipse.

Elsewhere, Usher warned fans not to join him on stage earlier in the tour unless they are comfortable taking part in his sensual live routine, after an awkward encounter went viral.

The R&B star addressed fans during a show at Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Alabama, days after an interaction at his Nashville concert circulated widely online.

“Now, before we get started, don’t bring your ass up here if you don’t want to be here,” he told the audience. “God don’t like ugly, but he most certainly don’t feel too good about pretty privilege either, do he?”

The fan later defended herself against criticism on social media, explaining that members of the tour’s team had moved her and her mother from their floor seats into the VIP area before the concert.
