When Australian actor Jai Courtney first broke into the American film scene, it seemed he was destined for action movie stardom. However, the failures of A Good Day to Die Hard, which made him the son of Bruce Willis' John McClane, and Terminator Genisys, where he played the franchise hero Kyle Reese, seriously hurt his star power. Supporting roles in disappointments like Divergent and The Suicide Squad didn't help either. It unfortunately looked like Courtney was going to become one of those young actors with a lot of promise who fades away, leaving moviegoers saying, "Whatever happened to that guy." But then came last year's horror thriller, Dangerous Animals. For anyone who doubted his acting ability, Courtney showed that he only needed to find the right role, because he was absolutely terrifying as a serial killer who feeds his victims to sharks.
