Too many series are rapidly cancelled these days, never getting the chance to reach their full potential. Yet, that isn't the worst fate in the streaming environment, as seen through the story of Disney+'sWillow. The 2022 fantasy series showed promise. Created during a boom in fantasy TV, Willow is a sequel to the 1988 Lucasfilm production of the same name, yet it features a new adventure through the magical world with some familiar faces. Despite its unique story, the Warwick Davis-led series didn't last long, getting cancelled shortly after its first season, leaving a cliffhanger that may never be resolved.
