The Witcher fans have had a lot to be excited about in the last few years, and the franchise isn’t slowing down as it moves into a new phase. The Witcher has existed since the mid 1990s thanks to the original series of fantasy novels, but it wasn’t until the premiere of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in 2015 that many fans were introduced to Geralt of Rivia for the first time. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt won Game of the Year at the 2015 Game Awards, and over 10 years later, the game is still receiving content updates and new DLC helping to keep things fresh. Next year, Geralt of Rivia will officially return in the final expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Songs of the Past, but plot details about the new release are being kept under wraps for now.
