In the 10th episode, some of these things shifted towards a better place. So far, Belly was trapped in a triangle between Conrad and Jeremiah. It seemed that in this episode, she finally managed to step out of it and find a little bit more.

But the bigger development took place with Conrad and Jeremiah. In this episode, Jeremiah and Conrad came face-to-face with each other and finally attempted to address the issues affecting them. Jeremiah admitted he was furious at Conrad for sabotaging his wedding, even if he did not intentionally do it. Conrad then confessed to writing letters to Belly.

In the end, the two men finally looked eye to eye and appeared to have understood each other’s side. The end of the episode saw them laughing off for messing things up between them. So, Conrad and Jeremiah are not fighting anymore. This means that things could take a turn for the better between them in the coming episodes.

But this episode seemed to hint that Conrad will get his heart broken by Belly again. That will not be the prettiest of sights. But for now, The Summer I Turned Pretty seems to be at a calmer place than before.
