Since it first arrived back at the start of 2025, The Pitt has become one of the most successful shows on TV. What makes this feat even more surprising is that it has risen through the ranks of other HBO shows without the same level of star power — having long-time ER veteran Noah Wyle to play the lead doctor on the show certainly helped pique interest, though. Casting directors Erica Berger and Cathy Sandrich Gelfond assembled the perfect group of stars to fill out the emergency room at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, and two of the best of the bunch are Patrick Ball and Ayesha Harris.
