The Next James Bond Has Been Found in a 'Dexter: Original Sin' Star — But There's a Catch

As Amazon gears up for the next era of 007 on both the big and small screens after being handed the reins by franchise stewards Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, the company has found the man who will play its British Secret Service agent. At least, on the video game side of things. The official trailer for IO Interactive's much-anticipated 007 First Light was revealed today during Sony's State of Play, confirming that Patrick Gibson, the star of the recently-cancelled Dexter: Original Sin, will be voicing the gentleman spy. Along with the announcement came an official release date of March 27, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
