Sporting a central quartet of Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and with the promise of their future appearance in Avengers: Doomsday, it felt somewhat inevitable, prior to its release, that The Fantastic Four: First Steps would be one of the year's biggest hits. Alas, it doesn't seem to have worked out that way, with the movie facing a similar fate to its direct big-screen MCU predecessor, Thunderbolts*.
