'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' Overtakes Robin Williams' 96% RT Disney Movie at the Global Box Office

Following a shaky period for the MCU, the announcement of Avengers: Doomsday and more was seemingly certain to get things back on track. Add to that the brilliant quartet of Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Marvel's brand-new First Family releasing in the summer of 2025, and many thought the MCU was about to find its stride once again. Alas, despite strong critical and audience reception, The Fantastic Four: First Steps has underwhelmed at the box office, pointing to greater issues in cinema's highest-grossing franchise.
