The Dunning–Kruger Problem in Modern Governance
Overconfidence despite clear incompetence was evident in both Obama and Mamdani. There is a cognitive bias called the Dunning–Kruger effect, which -- in my opinion -- would be better called the Obama-Mamdani effect today.
