Miles Davis is one of the greatest and most influential jazz musicians of all-time. The legendary trumpet player released over sixty albums, earning nine Grammy Awards during his iconic six-decade career. He was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, DownBeat Jazz Hall of Fame and received the NEA Jazz Masters Fellowship (one of the highest honors in jazz) back in 1984. Three of his albums received the National Recording Registry from the Library of Congress (Kind of Blue, Bitches Brew, and Birth of the Cool).
