41 years after This is Spinal Tap introduced Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest), David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean) and Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer), collectively known as Spinal Tap, and the rock mockumentary (but not the first) to the world, the band is back in Spinal Tap II: The End Continues, opening on September 12th. The sequel sees the band reunite for one final concert, and are joined by music heavyweights like Elton John, Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. Of course, Spinal Tap are musicians in their own right, with each actor able to play their own instruments proficiently, and, in addition to the soundtrack album, have released two other albums since then: 1992's Break Like the Wind (a double-entendre title that combines "move like the wind," as in going fast, and "break wind," as in, well, breaking wind) and 2009's Back from the Dead.
