The Yellowstone franchise continues its expansion, this time on linear television with the second season of Marshals. An offshoot of Taylor Sheridan's magnum opus series on Paramount+, Marshals continues the story of the troubled Kayce Dutton, played by Luke Grimes. The series was released earlier this year, and it's already back for more. Marshals is one of two Yellowstone follow-ups, with the other being Dutton Ranch, headlined by Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser. While Dutton Ranch continued the franchise's takeover of Paramount+, Marshals is the series' first installment to be released on CBS. This was among the many reasons that fans were taken aback by the first season. However, both critics and audiences seem to be coming around to the show upon its return.
