Stray Kids’ Felix SLAMMED with shocking allegations of treating staff like ‘servants’; idol hits back with legal action

Felix is the member of the K-Pop boy band Stray Kids. He is known for his amazing deep vocals that don't match his cute face. Felix has responded vigorously to an anonymous social media account that has continuously propagated false claims about the K-pop star supposedly mistreating his staff. Following the news of the small win, netizens expressed their disbelief at the allegations. No one believed that Felix would do such a thing. These posts started in March this year and have continued after that. Committing to legal measures concerning the matter, Felix has obtained approval from a US court to unveil the identity of the person spreading the defamatory information.

What were the defamatory posts?

According to court documents, an anonymous user on X allegedly posted false and derogatory statements, disseminating rumors on social media. The posts claimed that Felix "treated staff like servants" and "behaved like royalty." These accusations were shared repeatedly on March 8, March 15, and May 24 of this year. It was noted that these targeted allegations caused Felix mental distress, physical strain, and harmed his reputation as a singer.

Felix proceeding with a Lawsuit?

On September 5, Koreaboo reported that the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California allowed Felix to request "personally identifiable information (PII)" from X (previously Twitter) to support a civil lawsuit in Korea. Reports indicated that his earlier attempt to sue the defamer through a lawsuit lodged at Seoul Eastern District Court had been stalled due to the inability to identify or serve the defendant's true name and address. Now, having uncovered the accuser's identity, Felix can proceed with his civil lawsuit against them in Korea's court system.

Fans refuse to believe the defamer's claims

Another expressed their anger towards JYPE (Stray Kids' agency), they wrote, "I wanna know why Stays want to prove so badly that JYPE is behind the lawsuit. Felix found a law firm that doesn't work for JYPE, which he wouldn't have needed to do if it were only a simple case of filing it himself. The reason he did that is that JYPE wasn't doing enough"
