Steven Spielberg hasn’t worked with Leonardo DiCaprio in over 20 years, going back to 2002’s Catch Me If You Can, but the legendary filmmaker is still a big fan of the iconic movie star. In fact, Spielberg got a chance to hype up DiCaprio just this week at a screening of One Battle After Another(via The Film Stage), his new film with Paul Thomas Anderson (whose last movie was 2021’s Licorice Pizza). Spielberg hosted a post-screening conversation for the movie in L.A., and if that alone isn’t an indication that this could be a big one, Spielberg told the audience that it was already his third time seeing One Battle After Another. Sure, the guy is Mr. Movies, but Steven Spielberg isn’t going to see a movie three times (before it’s even in theaters) if he hates it.
