2026 is starting out well for Stephen King adaptations, especially this week. King is coming off the successful run of It: Welcome to Derry season 1, the It prequel series that aired from late October to mid-December. Though shows and movies based on Stephen King's books have been a mainstay for the entertainment industry, 2025 was a monumental year for adaptations.
