While Studio Ghibli has worked on games in the past (Magic Pengel, anyone?) and there have been plenty that have tried to imitate it, there are very few that actually perfectly adopt the style, tone, and whimsy of the studio's films. Sure, you can make something look in the style of a Miyazaki or Takahata film, but if it doesn't have the heart, the themes, or the magic, then it's merely a hollow reflection that looks rather pretty, but achieves little else.
