Spain’s Sánchez blames trafficking gangs as estimated 60,000 migrants reach Ceuta – Europe live

PM says criminals have misled people over a recent court ruling about those arriving in Spain via the sea

Spanish prime minister Pedro Sánchez is now in Ceuta, accompanied by interior minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska.

He first visited the Tarajal border crossing, and is now talking to officials from local authorities, border and police services.
