Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is finally going to introduce one of the most iconic and important characters from the Sonic games, Amy Rose. Amy first appeared in the 1993 video game Sonic CD, which also featured Metal Sonic. They both appeared during Sonic the Hedgehog 3's post-credits scene, suggesting that Sonic 4 will be inspired by that game.
