Previously working on hits like Etrange Overlord, Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, and the hallowed Disgaea series, Sohei Niikawa’s got a keen eye and a stellar track record for creating worlds filled with fantasy and dark comedy alike.

Enter Demons’ Night Fever – his latest project that takes his love for the SRPG genre in a new, distinct direction.

A pure EVIL direction.

A “Raising RTA Simulation RPG,” Demons’ Night Fever sets players down the path of the Dark Side with its unique Peon Exploitation System. When this combat mechanic comes into play, players can mercilessly sacrifice their own allies to get ahead.

“The concept I chose for this game is to revel in violence …villains don’t have guidelines!

It resulted in a nice approach to the game.” – Sohei Niikawa 

This pure evil side also extends to Demons’ Night Fever’s presentation. Lending their talents to its opening theme “Dropout” is the hit band syudou. 

Featuring a blend of “pop, dark vibes, and total chaos,” there were originally no plans for an opening movie. However, after syudou created this composition, everything fit perfectly Demons’ Night Fever and its sprit. The end result is something that properly sets the stage each playthrough.

When it comes down to it, Demons’ Night Fever prides itself on truly understanding what goes into a successful SRPG, all while keeping things uniquely differnet from everything else on the market today.
