Severance actor Britt Lower came out on top in her category at the Emmys on Sunday night, but you might have missed the most important part of her win.

When Britt picked up the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, most viewers were focused on her speech, in which she thanked her fellow cast mates and family for their support.

“First, it’s a privilege to even be mentioned alongside such an incredible group of artists,” she said. “I share this award with my heroic cast and crew, whose work catalyses mine.”

Britt continued: “Thank you to my mum and my dad, my brother, my husband, our kids, our co- parents, our chosen family. I love you so much. Thank you for this and thank you for choosing me.”

Amidst the outpouring of love, eagle-eyed Severance fans also spotted a hidden detail on the back of her acceptance speech notes.

It was a message in all caps ― seemingly from Britt’s “innie” character, Helly R. ― that simply read: “LET ME OUT.”

In photos from the night, you can clearly see the plea:

Despite the fan love, one thing is clear: Helly R.’s “outie” ― Lumon’s own Helena Eagan ― won’t be too happy about this.
