The latest comments from Seth Rogen on working with James Franco again

In a conversation with The New York Times, Rogen revealed whether he intends to work with Franco again, following the sexual misconduct allegations against the latter in 2018. He stated that he hadn’t talked to him in a long time and has no plans to collaborate.

He said, “I’m trying to think how much I want to personally share about this. I honestly think the nuance of it is too personal for me to get into right now. It is a very personal thing. There’s the public-facing side of it, which I’ve spoken about, and I have the same stance publicly that I’ve had, and I think the proof is in the pudding — I have not worked with him in years.”

He further added that the personal side of the situation is far too complex. He doesn’t know if he should be dragging other people into it. Rogen also said he wouldn’t gain anything from digging deeper into it.

“Nothing has changed since the last time I talked about all this, and I haven’t worked with him in a really long time, and I have no plans to,” he clarified. The duo have previously collaborated on a wide range of projects. These include Pineapple Express, This Is the End, The Interview, The Disaster Artist, and many more.

Earlier, in an interview with The Sunday Times, Rogen expressed concern over the Franco controversy, stating that he did not want to work with him in the future, a decision that remains firm even in the present. “What I can say is that I despise abuse and harassment and I would never cover or conceal the actions of someone doing it, or knowingly put someone in a situation where they were around someone like that,” Rogen added.

In the same New York Times interview, Rogen discussed his current career. The Studio won 13 Emmys, and his production company is behind The Boys. He also has upcoming projects, including the animated film Tangles and The Invite opposite Olivia Wilde.
