When Square Enix last brought up the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Switch 2 and Xbox Series X release, it noted this version of FFVII would include a Streamlined Progression option, and now there are new screenshots that also highlight that feature. However, while there is one that shows how those options will work, the other images focus on highlighting characters and locations in the game.
The FFVII Remake Streamlined Progression on the Switch 2 and Xbox Series X involves 10 different elements that can be adjusted for an easier experience, and the Options menu screenshot shows all of them. Constant Max HP and Constant Max MP are two separate options that can be enabled and disabled. You can also trigger how frequently characters can attack by turning on ATB Gauge Always Full, and ensure you can use a Limit Break at any time but toggling Limit Gauge Always Full on. Constant Max Damage is another option. You can ensure you never run out of money with Constant Max Gil. Constant Max Recovery Items is designed to make it easier to heal. There are also options to get characters set up sooner with Easy Weapon Ability Acquisition, Max Materia Levels, and 2x EXP & 3x AP Gain. These can be enabled or disabled whenever you want.
Here’s the screenshot showing that.

As for the other FFVII Remake Switch 2 and Xbox Series X images, here are the other screenshots Square Enix shared.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will appear on the Switch 2 and Xbox Series X on January 22, 2026, and it is already available on the PS4, PS5, and PC worldwide. Pre-ordering the Switch 2 or Xbox Series X versions also gets someone a copy of the original game.
