In the original Scrubs, nobody made JD's (Zach Braff) life harder at Sacred Heart than the venomous, unproductive Janitor played so memorably by Neil Flynn. The hospital's custodian made it his mission from the very first episode to torment the young doctor with pranks that never necessarily stopped him from doing his job, but certainly made things a lot more tedious. His punching bag's departure at the end of Season 8, then, left him with no further purpose until Bill Lawrence brought the gang back together for the revival earlier this year. Now, he's Chief Custodian of the Joint Commission, and as JD learned last season, he has a son.
