Aamir Khan and Salman Khan are close friends in the present day, a bond that was strengthened during Aamir's divorce from Reena Dutta in the early 2000s. When they sit together, the laughs are plenty. But this time, the two actors revealed a different side of their childhood. On a new episode of Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle Khanna, the actors revealed they once studied at the same school without knowing it. They shocked everyone with surprising stories of harsh punishments, fee struggles, and memories that show how far they've come since those early days.
Salman Khan's school exit
Salman revealed that he was only in the school until Class 4. Salman said, "Apparently we were in the same school together. But we don't remember that because I was there till fourth grade, then I was thrown out of the school." Salman Khan explained that one incident led to confusion with the authorities. While Salman was running with a friend, the friend tripped, fell, and chipped his tooth. The school assumed Salman had intentionally done it. But that wasn't the only reason that Salman Khan left. He continued, "I was punished outside, and my father (Salim Khan) asked, 'What has he done now?' I was in grade four. My dad spoke to the teacher, and she said, 'No, Mr. Khan, it is not his fault, it's your fault.' He asked, 'What did I do?' She said, 'Your fees, which you were supposed to pay, are not on time, so we kept him outside.' Then he said, 'Then you should be making me stand there.' After this, my father went to the principal, did whatever he could to pay the money, but two weeks later, this incident happened again, and they took me out of school."
Aamir Khan recalls fee troubles too
Aamir agreed as Salman recalled the story and revealed he had faced similar problems. "Yes, I do remember my parents couldn't pay fees on time either, and then they would announce our names in the assembly." Both actors shared how such public moments left a lasting mark.
Back to where it all began
These surprising facts left fans shocked, especially since the two stars became co-actors in the 1994 fan favorite Andaaz Apna Apna. Their friendship, which was once rocky, has transformed into a strong bond, and Aamir dropped a fresh hint that a sequel to the comedy classic is in the works.
