Sabrina Carpenter seventh studio album, Man's Best Friend, debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 366K units (224K pure sales). It is the biggest opening for a woman this year so far.

For comparison, 2024's Short n' Sweet sold 362,000 copies in the first week (184,000 pure albums).

Her second single, "Tears," debuted at no. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
