Rockstar Comic Artist Would “Jump At the Opportunity” to Bring His Musical Talents to James Gunn’s DCU [Exclusive]

Chris Daughtry may be best known for his breakout appearance on American Idol and a wide vocal range that has helped him become a bestselling rock artist with his band, Daughtry, but he's also a massive comic fan. He's created variant cover artwork for both Marvel and DC, starting with Batman Vol. 2 #50 in 2016, before getting the chance to work with Spider-Man on Red Goblin: Red Death #1 in 2019. Before that, he had also partnered with DC Entertainment on their charity campaign We Can Be Heroes, helping to combat hunger in Africa. It should come as no shock, then, that the idea of James Gunn's DCU or Kevin Feige's MCU calling for his services is exciting to him.
