February feels like it was years ago, but Resident Evil Requiemdid indeed come out earlier this year and, in my humble opinion, is a genuine Game of the Year contender. Featuring the arrival of brand-new protagonist, Grace Ashcroft, the game manages to blend full-on survival horror with over-the-top action thanks to the return of series mainstay Leon Kennedy. It's a banger of a game, honestly.
