Reform UK have been told ‘they can’t even spell their own name’ after a crucial by-election letter called them ‘Refrom’.
The campaign leaflet to voters in Camden only mentioned the party by name once, but it was spelt wrong.
The ’embarrassing’ typo came just days before the Holborn and St Pancras by-election to replace Sir Keir Starmer as an MP.
Green Party leader Zack Polanski is hoping to defeat Labour candidate Sagal Abdi-Wali, with George Galloway also standing for the Workers Party.
Reform’s candidate, former police officer Pete Newman, sent a letter to residents in Camden on Monday to persuade them to vote for him.

Newman, who worked as a senior detective for the Met, laid out his vision to get police on the streets and keep police stations open to tackle crime rates in the borough, which is among the worst in London.
But one voter was left confused after the letter did not mention Reform by name until the bottom, below Newman’s signature.
She then spotted a glaring error – Newman had called himself the ‘Refrom UK Candidate’.
The Camden resident told Metro: ‘I think it’s so embarrassing for Reform that they can’t even spell their own name.
‘I was reading through the letter trying to work out who sent it and it’s the only mention of the party on the entire thing.
‘Reform clearly don’t have a chance in Holborn and St Pancras. It was a slapdash leaflet that they didn’t even proofread. It’s sloppy campaigning.’
The party has since sent another letter to locals where their name was spelt correctly.
The mistake has prompted criticism from the other major main parties on the campaign trail.
A source from the Labour campaign in Holborn and St Pancras said: ‘It’s no surprise that Reform’s candidate is disowning the Nigel Farage brand.
‘Reform are mired in sleaze and are dodging questions about their mega “gifts” from crypto-billionaires.
‘They’re hiding from voters and they’re now hiding who they are. It says it all.’
Reform’s popularity has fallen in the polls since Andy Burnham became Prime Minister and after a string of reports about the party’s finances.
Senior party figures were recorded by undercover journalists in September discussing a £500,000 gift from a foreign donor.
However, Reform concluded in an internal investigation that they did not break any laws.
Nigel Farage’s party is taking a back seat in the Holborn and St Pancras by-election, which has been dominated by Zack Polanski’s first attempt as Green Party leader to become an MP.
Metro reported last month that leaked Labour polling appears to show Zack Polanski is now viewed as weak, unpatriotic and untrustworthy by London voters.
His leadership was plunged into chaos after the Green Party conference over the weekend, when members passed a controversial ‘Zionism is Racism’ motion.
The motion was condemned by the European Greens and a number of members have now left the party.
Reform UK has been contacted for comment.
