The skull prince of drum and bass returns with his third full-length album, BONEYARD. REAPER 19-track LP delivers pure jump-up energy and invites ravers into a world of heavy sub-bass, dreamlike vocals, and relentless rhythms. The seventh track, “SWEET TALKER,” captures the project’s ethos perfectly: “I live for the rave. The vibe, the sound, the energy. It’s intoxicating.”

Nearly a decade into his project, REAPER has helped usher in a new era for DnB in the United States. His live project debuted in January 2020 with Brownies & Lemonade at 1720 Warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles, bringing the genre’s high-octane sound to US dance floors. By staying anonymous during performances, REAPER keeps the focus on the music and atmosphere, letting the sound speak for itself. Through his relentless energy and boundary-pushing production, he continues to expand DnB’s reach and introduce the genre to new audiences worldwide.

With standouts like “IMY” featuring Bella Renee, “MAKE A MOVE,” and “Death Battle” with Blanke, REAPER has continued to make waves in the DnB scene. BONEYARD builds on that momentum, featuring “SUFFOCATING” with Adalaide Adams as its 14th track, a powerful collaboration that arrives as one of the album’s early standouts.

Throughout BONEYARD, REAPER weaves ominous strings, crushing sub-bass, and strategically placed vocals into a soundscape that balances eerie atmospheres with explosive, dancefloor-ready energy. The opening five tracks establish the album’s dark, industrial edge, layering gritty guitar riffs with compressed vocals that welcome listeners “to the Boneyard.” The intensity steadily increases until “SHREDDER” unleashes blaring alarms and aggressive vocal samples that slice through the mix.

“SWEET TALKER” shifts the mood with sultry vocals and a body-moving groove before transitioning into jungle-inspired rhythms that invite ravers to sway and bounce.
