PSA: New PS Plus RPG Has Free PS5, PS4 DLC on PS Store

Yesterday, Sony announced PS Plus Extra, Premium September 2025 games, one of which has free DLC on the PS Store. This month’s catalog refresh is admittedly a little scant, but players looking forward to hit action RPG Fate/Samurai Remnant can add a little something extra to their carts.

Both PS5 and PS4 players can claim Fate/Samurai Remnant Phantasmal Dress “Miyamoto Musashi” from the PS Store. It adds a costume for the above named servant.

In order to activate the DLC, players must first meet the character in-game, then head over to the house and select “Change Clothing” from the bookshelf. This add-on was originally an early purchase bonus.

We’ve seen largely negative reactions to yesterday’s PS Plus announcement, but we highly recommend giving Fate/Samurai Remnant a chance. Crow Country and Conscript are also great games.

The main issue with PS Plus September catalog refresh is the service’s priciest tier only getting one classic, especially when classics happen to be one of the main attractions of Premium. Then again, Sony probably has little incentive to overhaul the tier since official data shows that it remains popular among PS5 players.
