Prime Video’s new cyberpunk thriller, The Ghost in the Shell, just dropped a new trailer, and it makes the anime more hype than ever. In 2025, it was announced that Ghost in the Shell would receive a new anime from legendary studio Science Saru, and not only would it have some of the studio’s best staff involved, but it would also skew closer to the manga’s aesthetic and story than any other anime before it, so there was plenty to be excited about for fans old and new.
