Today is a great day for Lord of the Rings fans. Peter Jackson has confirmed that a new Lord of the Rings sequel movie is in the works, set to be released after The Hunt for Gollum. Late-night host Stephen Colbert will write the script for the film with Philippa Boyens and Peter McGee, and it will be based on the eighth chapter in The Fellowship of the Ring, Fogs on the Barrow-downs.
