It's common for shows set in the same universe to stage crossovers as a treat for fans. In most instances, both shows have to share a timeline, but sometimes the writers pull a neat trick. Check this out: NCIS and NCIS: Origins will crossover in the upcoming television season. NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama joined NCIS: Origins star Austin Stowell in announcing the news of the event set for Tuesday, November 11. How will that happen, you ask? Details are not clear yet, but the crossover involves solving a "case that spans decades." The NCIS-verse is not unfamiliar with crossovers, but this one is quite different because the flagship's events occur in the present day, while NCIS: Origins is set in the 1990s. It'll be interesting to see how this crossover happens. Watch the YouTube video embedded below to see the complete announcement.
