Paradise’s Dan Fogelman Gives Statement on Hit Show Ending as Season 3 Wraps Filming

Dan Fogelman has confirmed that Paradise Season 3 has officially wrapped filming. The creator shared the news as the Hulu thriller heads toward its final season. Fogelman reflected on his time with the show in a production update on Instagram.

“Finishing where it (fictionally) started,” Fogelman wrote on Instagram while announcing the series wrap. He added that he could not wait to share Season 3 with viewers. The creator also admitted that he would miss the series and its cast and crew, writing, “I’ll miss this show and the people who made it.”

The series stars Sterling K. Brown as Xavier Collins, a former Secret Service agent living in an isolated community after a catastrophic event. Paradise has gradually revealed the secrets behind the community and the events that led to its creation. Fogelman has previously explained that he planned the story across three seasons, making Season 3 the conclusion.

What can Paradise fans expect to see in the show’s final season?

Season 3 will follow the major developments from the Season 2 finale. Xavier will have to deal with the aftermath of the bunker’s destruction while continuing his search for answers about Alex. Fogelman has also teased another major location for the final season, with a new bunker beneath Denver Airport expected to play an important role.

In an interview with Variety, the creator revealed that Xavier will face a difficult choice involving Alex and his family. The final season will explore the consequences of that decision while continuing to expand the world beyond the original bunker.

Speaking to Collider, Fogelman has also teased that Season 3 will progressively “shift in genre.” However, he has kept many details about the final chapter under wraps. With filming now complete, the series has moved into post-production.

Hulu has yet to announce a release date for Paradise Season 3. For now, Fogelman’s wrap message confirms that the cast and crew have completed the final season.
