Famous Pakistani singer Quratulain Baloch was attacked by a brown bear on the night of 4 September. This incident happened in Deosai National Park in Skardu, when she was sleeping in her tent. During this time, the team of CDRS (Comprehensive Disaster Response Services) was also present with her. The team showed courage and succeeded in driving the bear away from there and Quratulain was immediately rushed to the nearest medical center. At present, doctors have said that her condition is out of danger. Although she has suffered some serious injuries, there is no fracture, and she is slowly recovering.

Quratulain Baloch was recently working to provide relief and help in the villages of Baltistan affected by the floods. There she was providing essential items and support to the flood-affected families. The CDRS team was also supporting her in this work. During that time, she had set up a tent to stay in the Deosai National Park, a hilly area of Skardu. This area is famous for its natural beauty but is also considered dangerous due to the presence of wild animals.
