As the Conjuring Universe arrives at a climax this week with The Conjuring: Last Rites, several other films in the franchise are witnessing bumps in interest on home video. All three previous titles — The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2, and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It — found spots on HBO Max's global top 10 list on September 4. Meanwhile, the spin-off sequel The Nun II also witnessed a spike in interest, having delivered blockbuster results at the box office not too long after the pandemic. Directed by Michael Chaves, the movie opened to mediocre reviews in 2022, but went on to deliver one of the biggest box office hauls in the franchise's history.
