9-1-1 Season 9 is continuing to kill it on ABC. It's been one emotional gut punch after another of late, with the 118 still grappling with the absence of their captain, Bobby Nash (Peter Krause), and being sent down some dark paths, but fans have been eating well since the midseason premiere, if the ratings are any indication. Two weeks ago, Episode 13, "Mother's Boy," even set a high watermark for the series on IMDb with a 9.3 rating, stealing the crown from the Season 3 episode "Sink or Swim" that pitted the team against a tsunami. It's been a sorely needed bounce-back for the beloved procedural after a controversial Season 8, and a hopeful sign of things to come as the series marches on through the post-Bobby era with a Season 10 renewal.
